Artist, poetess, proto-Goth, mostly remembered nowadays as the author of the "Ode to Stephen Dowling Bots," which Mr. Mark Twain was kind enough to reproduce in his "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn." Died of compications of a broken heart and an as yet undiagnosed wasting disease at the age of fifteen. Then things got interesting.
